Fried Green Tomatoes

I'm soooo tired!!! My DH and I have spent the weekend going to some of the sales on the Hwy 127 Yard Sale. I love yard sales and a bargain, so we had a great time! We usually set up on this route, but this year for a change of pace we decided to go to them ourselves. We ran across some great bargains, one is this brew & grind coffee maker, which had only been used once. We bought it for a $1.00 !! After looking this up online to try and find the manual for how it works, I found out this was $129.00 when bought new. To the person who sold this to us, I'd like to say Thank You again, this works perfect and makes the best coffee . We also found lots more Christmas directions. So DH will have a ball putting them up this year :)

I took a look at Kim's color challenge over at DSO, and all I could see in these colors are the tomatoes that my hubby had set out, and I've been so busy with lately putting them up (what we haven't ate) for eating on a later date. I hope you like and can find a use for my newest kit ...

Thanks for another great color challenge Kim. I really enjoy these :) While looking online for new and different recipes for tomatoes, I ran across an interesting one called - Green Tomato Cake . I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I plan on trying it in a few days. I scrapped the recipe using this kit. If anyone would like it, you can find the download links below, for both the scrapped version (includes text version), and a text only version.

Note Added: I forgot to add that I used a CU template by Kimberly Wresh in the making of this LO. I know she stated that no credit was required but I still like to give proper credit.
