Oasis Beach Resort QP

I've had the pleasure of scrapping with Oasis Beach Resort by Carena's Designs. This kit is perfect for building a beach scene, or for regular type layouts. I've had a blast with it!!  I'd like to share some layouts that I've made with it. 

Gatorland was a favorite place of mine to go to when I was small. I have fond memories of going there with my Dad and brother. So when my daughter took her kids to Florida on vacation I suggested they go here. They too loved it!

With this layout I created a scene with one of my granddaughters, Abigayle. Doesn't it look like she is ready to grab the seagull? LOL

 

I did this LO for the July 09 Coconut Reef Challenge (Scraplift) at DDR. The original layout was Guiding Light also by me.

I'm on another CT!

Whohoo I've got lots to share today!! First I've got to toot my horn a little. My layout Anchors Aweigh won LOTW at Digi Scrap Obsession for the week of June 30 - July 6.  Thank you Shannon for choosing it, I'm honored! And thanks to LouCee for the fabulous kit and to Jazzy for the fantastic word art. Without both of them this layout wouldn’t have been possible.  Here is the layout.

I've joined Kristine aka WenchdGrafix creative team. She sent me an email asking me to consider it, and having been a fan of her designs for a long time it didn't take me long to say yes! LOL

Here is the first layout that I've made as a CT member, using her beautiful kit Serene.  The wordart used in this layout is from A Touch Of Nature by Jazzy.  And I used the SM Tuesday Template by Jeni Hopewell Designs. This is my take on it.

And this next layout was made using Colors of Leslie. if you purchase this kit, you get the QP set free for a limited time!   Also the matching mini is given away on Kristine's blog. This wordart is also by Jazzy and from the Smiles Wordart Bundle.  I used Blog Template 132 by Bunny Cates on this one.

 

 

LouCee Creations has a new kit out in the store today Freshly Picked at %40 OFF. It is a gorgeous kit, which I've enjoyed scrapping with.  This first layout that I made with it, is a get well card for Jazzy, who is in hospital at the moment and in the ICU, if you could all just keep her in your prayers please. Hope you feel better soon Jazzy!!  I also used Template 3 from Greeting Card Templates Set 02 by Andrea Gold. the font used on this card is CutiePatootie a freebie by Matahati Designs.

And here is another layout that I scrapped with this kit, of my DH, who is a blessing to me.  The wordart in this layout is by Jazzy also and is from Words About Life, (re-colored) And another fantastic template by Bunny Cates - Blog Template 133.

 

 

I did two layouts with the Wedding Collab by the Digidesignresort Designers. Another beautiful kit, and could have been made for my youngest DS and his DW's wedding, the colors are a perfect match!  I used the July Template Freebie by Christie Lemmon Designs. The font used in this layout is Scriptina, one of my favorite fonts.

And this one I used a wordart from I Thee Wed by Jazzy (re-colored)

Garden Delite

First thing I want to share with you today is a layout that Saphira created of her son who is a firefighter-by-call in Germany. She used my kit Just Call Me The Fireman, that I created back in October of 2008. You can still find this kit here if you missed it.  Thank you again Saphira for sharing this with me and allowing me to post it here on my blog, sorry it has taken me so long to get it posted.  I would also like to thank FireMom who wrote a review on her blog recently about this kit.  You can see what she had to say about it, plus see a fantastic layout that she made with it here on her blog.

I so enjoy seeing how you use my designs, and hearing what you think of them.  A BIG thank you to all who take the time to leave a comment or send me a copy of your layouts.

What a digi-scrapping frenzy I have been on lately!  The first one I would like to share with you today is one I call  Freedom Isn't Free .  I found this picture on the web and just had to scrap it. In memory of all who died for our Freedom and in honor of all who have fought and/or still fighting.

This next layout was made using the new wordart by Jazzy aka Words To Delite, Chocoholic!  If you are like me, you have at least one of these in your family if not more. Our family is full of Chocoholic's with me being at the top of the heap. LOL  I don't think that the kit I used for this layout is available any longer, it is an older one from my stash. Can you tell that my grandson's favorite ice cream is chocolate.  hehehe

This layout is of my oldest DGD when she was a flower girl in my youngest DS' wedding. It was created for the quote challenge over at Digi Scrap Obsession and the font challenge week one over at Elemental Scraps.

Song in my heart

I'm back today with a couple of layouts to share with you.  Feeling a little melancholy lately, I have dived into some of my older pictures, before the days when I scrapped them or even had the time too. hehehe  And found some that I wanted to scrap now.

This first one is my two smiling sons, clowning around, when they were young. - both are now grown. I so miss these days.  Created for the template challenge over at DDR.

This layout I created from my kit for the color challenge part one at DSO this month. Yes I said part one, KimB not only has one great color challenge this month but two!!  Keep your eye for another kit from me soon, you will find this one below. I used some of the items in KimB's Mini Grab Bag #6 to create this kit, along with other things.  The wordart in this layout is from Just Music Word Art by Words To Delite, re-colored by me.  Jazzy aka Words To Delite has some fabulous wordart packs that can be used over and over in your layouts. Need some great wordart to help make your page really pop, you should check out her store here at DSO.

Here is a layout that I made today using LouCee's July 4th Mini and Jazz's Our Military wordart. This is my grandfather who served in the Navy during WW2.

The challenges are well underway for another month, and I've gotten started with them. I love the challenges because they give me a new idea for layouts that I might not have ended up with otherwise.
